Ok, anyone who's interested in watching Ascar next year, here are the dates for all the events:
Rounds 1 & 2 = 1st & 2nd May
Rounds 3 & 4 = 5th & 6th June
Rounds 5 & 6 = 3rd & 4th July
Rounds 7 & 8 = 31st July & 1st August
Rounds 9 & 10 = 4th & 5th September
Rounds 11 & 12 = 2nd & 3rd October
Or in other words THE FIRST SUNDAY OF EVERY MONTH FROM MAY TO OCTOBER!!!
Unfortunately rounds 1 & 2 and 9 & 10 clash with the BTCC, but it'll be interesting to compare the crowd numbers, because ASCAR Days Of Thunder is growing FAST!!!
Any ASCAR virgins still out there might want to pop along to The Rock at some point, to watch (possibly) the most exciting racing in the country.

It's annoying that two meetings clash and ASCAR know they do but won't change it. At least it's not a silverstone one this time (as they're so close and to get to rockingham I would've had to get through the silverstone traffic anyway).

It's a shame there's a couple of clashes, but you've got to congratulate Rockingham once again on throwing the British race circuit form book out of the window by being very clever. The first weekend of every month - so easy to remember, any casual fan will know when there's a race on.

It is a shame that there are still a couple of clashes with BTCC. I agree with Paul, someone at Rockingham has been very clever to arrange the races for the first weekend of each month, very easy to remember!

Every race meeing at every circuit, every weekend clashes with another somewhere else, its hardly anything new is it?
I doubt its the same audience anyway!!

Bit of a fact of life really isn't it Kelvin?
It is the same audience in our case!

It's a shame Lausitz has been taken off the calendar. Still, looks a good series for next year anyway.:)

This photographer will be at Rockingham the first weekend of every month next year :D
AFAIK my only clash is with the Snet BTCC in September which is a right shame since I've done that meeting for years as Snet is my "other" local circuit... Ah well, such is life. :(
Anyway, it is nice to be able to set plans in place early for once.

I hope Rockingham don't sideline the excellent club racing events they have there because of the big efforts their putting into the ASCAR.

no reason why they should after all it's only one additional meeting. if they dump anything it should be the bsb for all the aggravation it causes having to put additional white lines down ( hoping that they'll dry in time)to keep the bikers away from the wall(as if they needed telling that it could hurt if you get too close) then blasting them off after the meeting's finished plus all the extra wall protection and to top it the rumoured fake tickets that were about this year.

the ascar calander looks good. easy to remember dates, not too many clashes with the btcc and another year of family entertainment. should be a good year for ascar next year.
