What a fantastic result for Susie 4th in qualifying and 3rd in the race. I have followed her progress over this season and I have to say that she's always takes the time to chat and is very honest with what has happend in the race.

When she was wondering back for her de-brief she was mobbed by autograph hunters, all by women so I think she'll be a bit of a role model so we may see more female drivers in the series in 2004.

She drove a couple of really good races at Donington a couple of weeks back too. Maybe one or two of the BTCC teams should take note...

Perhaps she should be aiming for F3 - join Katherine Legge perhaps (but leave out the low level aerobatics hopefully!).

Susie's a star in the making. :D Delighted for her after following her all season long. Much better than the overrated Katherine Legge in my opinion! :)

Do us proud at Brands Susie! :D

I think she should do F Renault next year again and put in a real challenge for the title after Hamilton has left and she'll have a real chance. 3 years in F Renault never hurt Danny Watts after all!

For anyone who's interested, Susie will apparently be on Radio 5 live tonight, August 15th, at 9:30.

If you miss it, BBC are often advertising how you can get their radio shows on the net if you've missed them, so you'll probably be able to find it on their web site.

Susie did appear on 5live and she got the point across that women are not just a ous accessory but the can be very good drivers as well. Who else found the programme intresting.

I found it very interesting. I think Susie showed that she's got the right attitude to make it as a successful racing driver, she's very down-to-earth about it, which is more than can be said for some drivers. She also stated that she's going to stick around in Formula Renault next year to try and win the championship. I think that's more important than just trying to move up without really achieving anything, as Katherine Legge did.
