The team last put out a press release on 14th July saying that they were still trying to find a full budget and that they want to be in the BTCC long-term and not "just a few one off race meetings to make up the grids for this year."

it's getting closer but as they have said before - when the money is all in place then they will be too. They will not make a half hearted or half financed effort.
