Seriously, they kinda said they were coming back, but never did. A lot of rumours went about that VLR had the IS200's, as they had done some work to them, hadn't been payed and hence, confiscated them.

I thought somebody was thinking of using them in europe (but that never happened either). It's a shame if they're just hanging around in a garage somewhere.

Makes you wonder where all the other old BTCC cars have gone!

Some of the old supertourers are being raced in the formula saloons championship. There's half a laguna in a shed at thruxton which I assume is used for marshall training of some sort (what else could you do with half a car?). And I spotted John clelands vauxhall vectra from 1996 on a stand at the autosport show.

Not that I'm bias but as I own a sportz hatch.

I know that when we were running the 2ltrs here some of the old cars were shipped out. They all run in a class called Improved Sports Saloons under 2ltrs
