Dunlop is new title sponsor

Dunlop will replace HiQ as the BTCC's title sponsor next year and for the next 4 years (source: homepage). Good news to see this sort of stability in today's climate. HiQ is staying on as well to sponsor the teams trophy for four years as well.

Good news, think Dunlop is just a bigger "brand" to have as title sponsor. Hope HiQ continue the champagne moments etc/

As it stands, it will be like this;

Dunlop MSA British Touring Car (Driver's) Championship
HiQ MSA British Touring Car (Team's) Championship.

But the overall brand will be Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship.

Does this mean the forum colours will go back to yellow? :)

good news that despite the economic climate, when big names are pulling out of motorsport that the BTCC is still able to attract sponsorship and also on a long term contract.

Dunlop & HIQ are part of the same group so it's just a reshuffle of paper work....before anyone jumps down my throat i know there's more to it then shuffleing ...figure of speach !!!:)
