They say its to help equality within the Production WRC, creating two seperate competitions, the P-WRC for Group N cars and the S-WRC for Super 2000 cars. But part of me think there doing this to try and compete with the IRC. Having a seperate S2000 category would appeal to teams and drivers, but is it a little bit too late. Now the IRC has grown into a huge series, would teams really prefer to join the S-WRC or the IRC?

Its more to do with the S2000 cars are alot more competative than the current group N cars, so its seen as unfair, so they want 2 seperate championships. over the last few years there has been a few S2000 cars on WRC events. The WRC cars are supposed to be changing to S2000 spec but with an added Turbo charger so they will be diffrent to IRC cars.

...........on another note the WRC is gettin intreasting for next Season, with Kimi Raikkonen set to Sign for the Citreon junior team in the next few days to do a complete season and also Rumour has it that The Monster Energy World rally team are going to enter with Chris Atkinson (Top Bloke) and Ken Block as the Drivers, I beileve they will Run Focus RS WRC's. If the later happens I cannot wait to see Ken Block in Wales next year.
