Great news for the WRC to have a big name join, but he's in one of those pesky Citroens  still, worse things have happened

Great deal for Kimi. It's only for a year...if he does well he stays on and possibly steps up from the Junior team to the main works squad alongside Seb Loeb. If he doesn't, he has the tasty possibility of switching back to F1 for 2011 with Red Bull alongside Sebastian Vettel. Dietrich Mateschitz (who has been behind getting Raikkonen into the Red Bull backed Cirtroen Junior squad) is desperate to get him in to his F1 team as he feels his care free spirit and party-going nature fits perfectly with Red Bull's image. Didn't happen for next season as Webber had already inked his contract for '10 by the time Kimi was dropped by Ferrari but don't rule out the Kimster coming back for 2011.

If the Block/Ford rumour turns out to be true, I wonder if the Focus's will look like the car Valentino Rossi used in the Monza Rally a couple of weeks ago??

Thats why the rumour is pretty strong cause of Rossi's car in the Monza rally. Monster Energy seem to be abit like RedBull at the Minuate, Got there teeth into Everthing, Rallying, superbikes, motogp and F1 etc etc.
I even went to Marrlory park in october to watch the British rallycross and they sponsered that aswell

Its cause Red Bull is there big rivals, so there trying to compete against them in Motorsport, so Red Bull dont get all the headlines.

I do prefere a Can of Monster though to be honest, really gets you going on a night out or a day at work lol

As far as i'm aware, Atko is a good mate of Block and he also has links with the boss of Stobart, I know Block seemingly has all the money in the world, but it don't really make sense to buy 2 Focus's when he could buy 2 S2000 Fiesta's and run them for less than the price of one Focus WRC, especially with the rules changing for 2011.

It will be interesting to see how Kimi fares in the WRC. I think by the end of the season he will be challenging for podiums if not wins.

great news (well for me anyway being a WRC and Citroen fan!)

All we need is for the Ken Block/Chris Atkinson deal to come through with Monster backed Fords and we could have a great WRC season next year
