Top gear..btcc

In the next issue of top gear magazine (october) There will be an article about the btcc and if it can survive and return to the good old days.

Just thought i'd let people know as it might be a good read.

It will probabily get a crap articale, if Mr Edwards has anything to do with it, he does not like raceing drivers. I think its because he is jellous, because they are doing somethink he can not.
It will be worth standing around in Smiths to have a look thought.

You know that guy who presents Top Gear and writes articles for the mag, and the sunday times. If he spent more time talking about the car and less about utter crap then maybe I could stand him.:mad:
Now Tiff he is a different matter, enjoys racing, even racing in the production class of the BTCC a while back. Top bloke.

How can someone forget Jeremy Clarkson?

He's a legend and he's hilarious. But he does like race cars and loves his racing. He goes to the British GP, Goodwood, and he loved the BTCC!

I said loved cos I read his article in 1999, and he may have gone off it by now.

The only problem I have with him, is his article in that BBC 1999 preview magazine. Saying the BTCC would be better if they has Ferraris and Lambos in it. Yeah, that's what Sports car racing is for! :rolleyes:

Sorry, but I have only heard him slag off all types of motor sport, and he always goes on about how he hates race drivers, especialy F1 drivers.
Whenever I see him on TV he always looks like an old man sat in a nice are talking crap. But then hey somepeople like watching crap, look how many people watch Easteanders and Corrination Street.

Clarkson is great - how can anyone say he isn't? He's a good journalist - not just cars but the other stuff he does is good too (think Britain's greatest) and of course you've gotta love him for the fact his mum designed the paddington bear (I think?) toys!

Oh and the comment about Ferraris and Lambos in the BTCC - watched the GT coverage on C4 this morning - and its got a clio and a golf in it - so you never know!! ;)
