Hi guys,
I am thinking of taking the family to the Easter race at Oulton Park, and I wondered if anyone knows if they operate an open paddock like they do in the BTCC?
Also, any good tips to look out for when seeing the F3/GT Series?
Thanks

support races are okay, last year it was national F-fords, VW cup and ginetta G20 (think thats been canned)
if brit GT can get a resonable sized grid it will be good, last yeat at the hill we had 8 GT-3 cars and 2 GT4's and tbh it was a bit boring

If that's as good as it was for WTCC Support, then you are in for a treat.

Boysie bit of an update for you. The GT field is looking quite strong upto yet. Theres the Viper back which just missed out on the title last year. Theres the new STP backed Ferrari 430 driven by Daniel Brown(ex FPA driver and shock of last year), theres Astons due to be back and Team Modenas Lambo are planning to re-enter. For Oulton and selected rounds there are two Audi R8 LMS's entered. There is also a Lotus 2-Eleven and some Nissan 350Z's entered in the GT4 class. I am sure there will be a splattering of Ginettas in the GT4 class as well(depending on rules). There is also plans to reintroduce the Cup Class which is a further step down GT4 which should mean yet more cars on track.

Abarths are only supporting F3/GT at Oulton, they won't be at Knockhill.

british F3 dont want to play at the hill so it should be minis, legends, XR2's, fiesta ST, smrc sports & saloons & classics, dunno about the new scottish ginetta cup as i havent heard much about them. all TBC

Not so. Alex Brundle has been revealed for T-Sport in the International class. He will be in a Dallara Volkswagen.

Cassey 'KC' Watson. she used to race in the Ginetta Juniors and moved to Britcar last year(after starting the season in one of the two Mazda MX5 championships). Just add the dots to the web address in my sig to find out more.

thought I would give this a bump . So with the grids for the GT (not checked F3 as open wheelers aint really my thing) looking pretty full and big grids in both the Volkswagen and Fiats looks like it should be a good weekend depending on the weather. I will be going and try to watch the BTCC on tv on sunday though I have family stuff to do :( . Hopefully it will be a good weekend and im hoping to be really cheeky and do a photo set of the R8 in the garage.

it was really good - bit of a change to BTCC as lot more relaxed. Abarths and VW cup was good and the GTS until my car went bang :(
