well, i saw his phone at ASI, and the screen was smashed to pieces, and he was trying to read a text message through the cracks, so could may well be a new phone :p

But on the other hand, if its Bamboo related, it could be the announcement of the 2nd driver.... we'll wait and find out anyway

Well according to a well known site, Vaulkhard has moved on to pastures new, a shame really I thought this would be a really good chance for him this year in BTCC.

It's been confirmed on Bamboo's website that they will be entering the WTCC with Harry, he will be greatly missed on the BTCC grid.

How much more does a WTCC season cost, seems strange to go from 1 car in BTCC to 2 in the WTCC.

Shame that Bamboo didn't decide to go for a proper crack at the BTCC.

As much as I'll miss seeing Harry around the paddock and that gorgeous Lacetti, it's a perfect opportunity for him and the team to step up to the big time in WTCC and show them what he's made of!

I like the car's with the edition of the yellow and look forward to them tearing round Brazil in Eurosport HD! :D:D

Reading further into the article the team boss says they would be willing to expand if they can get Turks as they both have eyes on the International scene. If he went would we see a #1 plated car in this years BTCC?

No, as Turks would be number 1.

IF JP returned, he'd have number 2, Neal 4, Mat J 5 etc - but no number 1.

Wasn't Turks linked with a couple of the WTCC Independent BMW teams?

Back on subject - Bamboo are the first time to enter Lacetti's privately for a complete season :cool:

i think bamboo would need an experienced head with harry in wtcc thats a pretty major step up for him and the team, half a btcc season two etcc races and on to world stage but good luck to him

entry date for wtcc is in about 10days and id guess that co incides with a shipping date for cars etc to get to brasil

It's ashame to lose Harry and Bamboo in the BTCC.

Harry will most definitly be missed around the BTCC paddock. From experience I can say that Harry is a great guy, Passionate about his racing and one of motorsports all round good guys

I wish Harry and Bamboo Engineering all the best with the WTCC. As people say, Harry will be missed, he's a popular bloke, and he's wanted to do WTCC for a few years. Hopefully he can be up there fighting for outright points and an occasional podium. Fingers crossed the WTCC is much luckier for Hazza :)

If they can afford to do it then its never too early :) Seat have pulled out, BMW have cut back so there's a niche there for new teams to come in and show what they can do :)
Bamboo maybe a fledgling team, but they have a very good boss in Richard Coleman, but they have the same chance as everyone else in the series to bag wins etc etc......

This news came as a bit of a shick to me, probably becuase they have only really just made a name from themselfs in Btcc. But wish Harry and the team the best of luck in the Wtcc.
