It sounds like a WRC car or almost at parts an F1 V8! Love it! :)

How can it be "legal" sounding like that? No other engine in the BTCC sounds like it.

Nick Leasons BMW 120 sounded the same ;)

Just because no other car or teams engine sounds like it, it doesn't make it illegal. So long as it's below the maximum decibel level allowable it can sound whatever it likes.
Can't wait to see it in action again. Roll on Media Day (4 weeks today) unless I find out they are testing at Brands next week, then I aim to be there.

It sounds to me as if the sound on the video is slightly distorted giving the impression it sounds a lot louder than normal.

As I recall it was the loudest car out there last year.

Just hearing it is making me want the new season to start NOW!

Me thinks there will be a lot more Team Aon fans around the paddock this season  not me but with their improved cars and performance I think there will be more neutrals turning into Team Aon following.

They do have the best merchandice imo.

To be fair, theres probably a lot of team aon fans out there already, they just cant afford to show it due to the ridicuously highly priced merchandise ;)

I bought our mechandise at the end of last season at Brands Hatch, they had all BTCC items, buy 2 get 1 free, so I got 3 T-shirts and 3 caps. Then I got a brand new pit crew style shirt for £20 off ebay. Wouldn't say no to a jacket though but I'm not paying just short of £100. My Team Mondeo coat I bought in 99 was £100, but that is a proper winter coat, not a jacket, so more worth the money in my view.

Some Ford dealers can fit a Mountune tuning kit for you, 180PS, won't sound quite the same as the Focus, but will certainly sound better than standard.

grand prix legends were selling Team Aon merchandise at reduced prices, i got the track top for £35 instead of the £50 it usually is.

I was lucky enough to get an AON jacket from my wife, think she sweet talked the guy down to £80.

After having it for a week i wore it about 2 - 3 times only for walking to work in the rain.

My wife said some stiching came undone and i have a big hole on the inside pocket already!

Bit disapointed, but i do love the jacket and the looks and it gives me chance to show my support to
the team just a shame about the quality.
