So a early start in the morning this weekend with the Australian GP. It will be interesting to see what happens this weekend with the spectacle because I fear if it is a boring race then it will lose a lot of fans. Even though it probably already has. I think it will be closer this weekend with McLaren looking to get back at the front of the grid.
My Prediction is that Vettel will win.

Sauber are the first team outside Mclaren to have an F Vent. Theres is on the left sidepod. People are unsure how theres will work though.

At Wembley this Sunday so wont be watching either .... despite the fact I always work Sundays otherwise, meaning I wont watch any of them this season.

But im backing Red Bull and Hamilton for a good performance.

Ok Sauber used the F Vent in Practice 1 but took it off for practice 2 and are unlikely to use it for quali or the race claiming they needed to try it and then look at the info. I hope Massa can do one better then Bahrain and get that top step. After last year he deserves a win or 5

Australian Grand Prix was brilliant, and until Hamilton got "stuck" behind the Kubica train, it could of been a McLaren 1-2

Well done Jenson. I doubt it will be the only time this year that his ability to keep make the tyres last longer will reap benefits for him.

Remember it's not how fast you go over a lap, but how fast you can over the race distance.

Vettel was going to pit again so it would of been very interesting to see what would of happened between him and Jenson.

Totally agree with Craig above, What a smahing Grand prix. I woke up at 5.45 this morning, made myself some brekkie and went back to bed to watch the race. and how pleased I was, Superb spectacle, really enjoyable.

Great Drive from Jenson, Really pleased he won, met him at Autosport Show and he was a lovely guy. How unlucky is Vettel though, should of really had two wins by now.

As a Massa fan, obviously was thrilled that he got on the podium today, Two in a row is a great start to the season, especially after his accident last year.

Great race, BBC coverage was World Class as always. I watched from 6am, right through to the end of the F1 forum on the Red Button just after 10.

Quality Morning's Entertainment :D

Im gutted, my man Vettel should really have two wins out of two right now :( Otherwise, it was a good race, but dont want everyone to think they will all be like that, or all as bad as Bahrain, most will fit in the middle haha.

It was a pretty entertaining race.

Jenson really did come up with a master stroke changing tyres when he did. He deserved to win for that alone. ;)

Got too feel for Vettel. If his season continues like that, then I can't see him being with Redbull next near. Two failures out of 2 at this level is not good.

Hamilton - Is he missing the influence of his father being at the races with him?

Hispania - What a "result" for Karun Chandhock to have made it to the end of the race. That must be a huge morale boost for the team.

Virgin - Interesting to hear that they were expecting a high density fuel, which they have not got and has caused the fuel tank issue.

Well I have to say I certainly enjoyed watching this one this weekend (though I used my Sky+ to full advantage :p).

A couple of points made it for me:

1) Jenson winning, great choice for tyres in the end, but didn't seem like it at first when he slid off the track.
2) The youngsters keeping Michael Schumacher at bay. You wanna go round you're gonna have to do it properly, Michael. :p
3) Many overtaking opportunities taking place, which is excellent, maybe the BBC want to get a counter on the screen. :p

Of course a little gutted about Lewis (though he only lost one place in the end) and Vettel.

Also the next round is only next week, Kuala Lumpur, though it's just going to overlap the BTCC. :(

What a great race!

Really chuffed for Jenson and very amused to see Schumacher have some manners put on him by the likes of Di Grassi.

Shame for Lewis, although I think part of his undoing was his own by losing his cool, his overtakes were amazing in places where overtakes shouldn't happen, but then claiming "My Tyres have gone" didn't help him at all, the team should have reminded him that it was just dirty air and he had mechanical grip...then I think he'd have got his head down and passed Alonso & Massa. I do think he needed that second stop as his aggresive style and the amount of overtakes he did up to the point of the stop probably wouldn't have done his tyres any good, but he lost his own psycological battle when he got stuck behind Alonslow.

But like Murray used to say F1 is IF backwards and all in all I was just glad to see a great race and to see Fernando not get it all his own way...hats off to him for climbing from dead last back to 5th though, even if I don't like the fella credit where credit's due.

I loved the Grand Prix :D that certainly made up for the dull race in Bahrain....

Kobayashi kept losing his wings over the weekend (3 to be precise) one involving harpooning Hulkenberg!!! Nasty stuff!! Chandhok finished..... albeit 5 laps down, but a great effort all the same.

Button drove a brilliant race, and had Vettel not had his brake failure, I feel Button would have overhauled him anyway. Hamilton drove a blinder, but as we all know, was let down by his strategy. Could we be seeing some Button favouritism there? ;)

Schumacher was stuck behind a spanish kid young enough to be his son, And got passed by Di Grasi in a Virgin :D :D my moment of the race lol.

AQ brilliant result for Kubica. I thought that Renault would really struggle this year, but Kubica is again showing his worth, and talent.

The BBC coverage has been great. Last year it was wonderful and this year it is just as good. Showing classic grand prix's on the red button, the practices, qualifying and race all live is brilliant and so is the F1 forum after the races as well. ITV would have never gone this far for the fans and I hated adverts every 5 minutes in the race.
It was a brilliant race but the weather played a major part in the amount of overtaking so there is still a lot to work on for the bosses to sort out problems like the double diffusers and the amount of downforce the cars have. Then F1 could start getting really exciting every race if they sort some of the problems out just like it should be.

If only every race was in the rain

Going to have to sky+ it next week due to being busy at this small thing called Btcc:p
