Any fans here of the Moto GP?
Just got around to watching the Qatar GP and thought it was one of the best races in any disipline so far this season, Moto2 looks like its going to be a fantastic series too, old GP riders and young 125 grads doing battle - going to be a fantastic championship.
Stoner falling while leading would have bet him to win that by a postcode! Lorenzo's move on Dovisiozo he was either going through or they were both going off!
Anyway enough waffle from me anyone else follow or care to add/interject (big word).

Was a Very good race, not uasally the best at that Track but quite surprised me.
Was great Seeing Nicky Hayden doing well also Ben Spies and Dovisioso all running up the front, Was gutted about Stoner as hes in my Dream team.
I thought the new Moto2 catorgery was Amazing What a Race, lookin forward to seeing that the rest of the season.
Im very open minded, Im happy watching Bikes and Cars, I skip between this and the BSB forum, as I like my Touring cars aswell as my Superbikes, MotoGP and Road Racing I.e IOM TT etc.

Not a fan of it myself, Watched the build up to the Qatar GP, got me excited, then turned it off after 2 laps. Just isnt the same as 4 wheel racing for me, cant get into it. Plus having Rossi winning all the time and a lack of english riders, puts me off.

MotoGP is not the Best at the Minate I have to agree, it lacks numbers and British riders all though there are some in the 125gp and Moto2 Classe's,
World Superbikes is probley the best to watch ATM , with 7 British Riders in and Leon Haslam is Leading the championship.
But MotoGP is the Premier Class.

I do enjoy the odd MotoGP race when I can catch them.
Thought Qatar was a pretty good race. Not a Stoner fan, but I was gob smacked when he binned it.
How good were those Hondas on acceleration.;)
Good win for Rossi, which he did not expect to pick up.
Lorenzo's overtakes at the end were pretty spectacular in my book. How long before he will be champion? Not too long I hope. ;)

Not Long, he is a Class act, he wiped the floor in 2006 and 2007 with his two 250cc world championships.

Lorenzo's got to be in his best shape yet for title basically he's not dropped 5 points to Rossi but gained 20 on Casey, unfortuneatley due to the current lack of 'spensive telly I only get Moto GP live and have to make do with ITV/CH4 world and BSB coverage, not that there is anything wrong with them, got to take my hat off to ITV for their IOM shows the last few years though, long may it continue, BTW how the hell do you go about booking to go to IOM race weeks, tryed like hell but couldn't get anything all already booked up! maybe 2011!

If you cannot make the TT, the Southern 100 or Northwest 200 are just as good, probley easyier to get booked up aswell.
Moto2 was Class with 41 bikes on the Grid I would like to add to a previous post.

I enjoy taking photographs of the riders - it's a nice challenge to catch them with any sense of momentum and urgency. I have a few photos up on my flickr (in my sig), but I don't really find motorcycle racing too appealing. Doesn't grab me, except the 125s where it really is all about perfect riding since they all ahve the same wee engines!
And they smell magic...
A bit of heathen really, as my dad used to race them 'back in the day', but they just never appealed...:D
