View Full Version : BMW to return to the DTM?

According to another well known Touring Car website, BMW are set to announce their return to the DTM shortly. It seems that the new regulations that are set to come into place for 2011 now suit the boys from Bavaria and a full works assault is imminent. It looks like the death knell for their participation in the WTCC but with the thought of seeing in the flesh a certain Mr Priaulx hustling an M3 through Paddock Hill Bend and sticking it to Audi and Mercedes, who cares?!!!

Oooooh, that's good. Means we can expect much better coverage of DTM here now - one of the stipulations of a lot of their broadcasters was that there would be at least three different manufacturers.

Yeeesss. But I will miss the German commentary!

Well if this comes to fruition then at least I will know who to boo! :)
Great news for DTM, which has really need a third Manu since Opel left, I guess also it alleviates some financial pressure on Audi and Merc, who have had to supplement the grid/championship by running up to 10 cars each.

Know who I'd like to see? Alfa Romeo. The 155 testarossa they ran in ITC was gorgeous...the front splitter was a work of art.

They do if you reload them. It's because they don't allow hotlinking - just refresh the image link and it should load fine. Did for me second time.
