I'm not 100% sure but I think its like a drivers licence, 12 points and your out I think. Endorsements, bans all sorts can come from points on licences, but if someone is more in the know I will stand corrected...

Yeah i thought it was 12 points like a normal licence, then it gets revoked or something.

Not sure about if the points get reset each season or anything.

Think they get reset every 2 years. Alan Gow will surely explain when he answers the question on his thread.

Under normal MSA rules, 12 penalty points within a 12 month period will get you a 3 month ban.

points stay on the licence for 12 calendar months from date of issue, 12 at anyone time and u get a ban,
it would be nice to have a little table showing whos got what and when there are a few in this years field with a legacy

Well Tom Chilton got 2 for taking out May Jackson in race 3 at the Rock.

It would be possible for a fan to keep track of who has how many points if one could be arsed, but I for one can't be!

good to see the clerks and stewards are starting to deal with drivers that think they are at the bangers. I can only hope that the rollickings the drivers get need them to put ice packs on their ears, that might lower their over inflated ego's a bit as there is too many drivers in BTCC that think they are better than the rulebook and are needing an army style rollicking to bring them down a peg or 2

this week we have heard how dave pinkney, shaun hollamby, jackson and how many others have had their cars damaged by needless contact, time for the clerks and stewards to come down on the culprits hard and make them realised that no matter how rich their daddy is there is rules for a reason
