After waiting a short while for the pitwalk to start i hurriedly made my way over to the drivers stands , i eventually battled my way through the crowd gathering in front of my favourite driver Mr Jason Plato !!!:cool:

just as i was taking a quick snap of the man himself i was startled by a loud crash bang wallop ,i looked around to find that his Sign on the garage had come off and landed on the back his car !!!

that could easily have been my head as i was stood right underneath it !!!:rolleyes:

it dont matter it would have been quite funny if it did hit me , im sure it would have brang a smile to Plato considering he looked in foul mood , and that was before his car broke down twice !!!!!!!

yeah it is , even tho we have the big barriers up , my missus jumped coz we was in the spot where lee wood came off just before the pit straight !!!:cool: she took few steps back

Plato isn't normally the happiest of drivers in the pit Walks, its better to see him in the afternoon in the paddock between Race 2 and Race 3. However this would not be possible at Brands due to the BTCC Paddock not being open.

I had a really nice experience of meeting Jason at Thruxton, I got a picture of me and him, and asked him to sign my programme, He saw that Martin Johnson had signed it "Happy Birthday Darrell", so Jason wished me a Happy Birthday. Top Bloke ;), was a fantastic birthday at Thruxton :cool:

i had a good meeting with jp at oulton park last year after the meeting we were passing the sponsors tent ,he seemed ok, and pleased to pose for a photo with my son.
