Manufacturer/Independent Trophies

Alan,

Aplogies first if the answer is obvious, but I can't think of it. If Team AON/Ford are running as a manufacturer team (as they are in the hunt for the manufacturer's trophy), how come they also qualify as an Independent team as well?

Team Aon are not registered for, and don't receive, Manufacturer points - they are registered for the Constructors section within the combined Manufactuers/Constructors Championship;
