Hi Alan,
Firstly I have tried to search the forum to find my answer, but could not seem to find anything raised about this matter which suprised me.
My question to yourself is. The wing mirrors used by the Ford Focus in BTCC do not seem to represent that of the factory car. Whereas all the other cars on the grid have standard wing mirrors that have been on the car from factory.
So basically, are the Fords allow to run these much slimmer, smaller and probably more aeordynamic wing mirrors. It was my understanding that the cars had to pretty much resemble that of the car that rolls out of the factory.
I know that there was a lot of fuss made about the front bumpers of the Vectra's a few years back, but this was proven as there was 100 or so Vectra VXR's made with those front bumpers. But to my very good knowledge there is no focus model which has those small wing mirrors as used by Team Aon Ford Focus'
Thanks
Ross
