Just heard about the poss shoot out for the second BAR seat for next year. I think it would be good viewing. I would be like the Williams 2000 seat which Button got, But better as it would be live on TV. An almost Fame Acadamy programe.
I dont think it would take anything away from the drivers as some peolple might think. It would give the drivers experince of the pressure thats if there are any driver that have not driven in F1 before the test, it would mean the team can test the driver on driving and how good the driver is with the PR. I dont agree with testin gthe drivers on PR but it will show the team that the driver can handle the pressure of the media and not let it get get in the way of thier driving.
Let me know what you think of the idea.

I have to say it is interesting idea:). F1 Fame Acadamy, hmmm...I don't think BAR will do that though they may well hold a shoot out. Of course it all depends on how much Honda really want Takuma Sato in the team. Still if this was televised I'd definitely watch it, unlike the real Fame Acadamy.:)

, "A shoot-out is for new up and coming drivers. I wouldn't do it, you wouldn't do it and Madonna wouldn't do it. I wouldn't do it." Jaques Villeneuve.

I have just got this quote from another motor sport magazine website, and it looks as if Jaques wont take part as he knows he will lose. He has been beaten by Button most of the races this year and know his experience is his greatest asset. He is a quick driver and I think in the right team could be a title contender again, but he has spent to long at BAR and the back of the grid. He should have taken the McLaren seat he was offered in 1998. I bet he wishes he had as well.
He is a good driver and just can not get the opportunity he deserves. I think if he fails to sucure a F1 drive, he should go back to CART and join his manger in his team. His talent would be allowed to shine there, and he would bring alot of support back to CART and away from the boring world of the IRL.
Hope Villeneuve gets a good drive for next year wherever he is.

I twould be a shame to see Jacques slip quitely out of motor racing:(. However I'm sure he should be able to secure a drive next season, though probably not in F1.
