BMW confirmed for DTM in 2012

Very interesting news indeed.

I think it's no secret that DTM has been needing a 3rd Manufacteur for quite sometime now.

I wouldnt be suprised to see BMW pull out off WTCC either this year or next to concentrate on this project.

I wonder if this means we will see Priaulx and Farfus in DTM come 2012

more then likely farfus and prilaux will be in the dtm, i just hope the new regs coming out make the cars look more like there road going counterparts, instead of formula 1 filmsy things! lol.

dont forget bmw have Muller and other german drivers in their ranks already and i really cant see them mounting a 2 car challenge on DTM. they have comitted to having a new s-2000 spec 1600cc unit available for wtcc next year, albiet that a full factory backed team has not yet be confirmed, perhaps they will adopted the seat approach and be a factory team in all but name
