At Oulton, i was on hill top ( fantastic view of most of the track ) when early in the first race, i think it was tom Chilton made a slight mistake which may have seen him on his roof! Anyone else see it?! Made my day!! :D

chilton was unlucky. he just ran wide and got it on the grass. i was so pleased that he didn't roll. it was a shame to see his season end like that.

It was a bit of a scary moment, for a split second I thought he was going to leap the tyre wall and land on his roof. I couldn't believe it when he came past like nothing had happened, must've been a great save!

What a waste of a great car. (For the second year running). It is a great shame that daddy's money keeps a good driver out of the limelight........
<add driver's name here>........
e.g: Turkington... Hines.... Plato.... Collard....

Sorry LeMans but you quote a poor example. Mr Turkington's money helped put Colin in the seat this year. Good thing he did too. We may not have seen him at his best.
I think Tom will end up showing Honda's faith in him is justified. Even if the money come in handy in the meantime.

Hines was also in a seat as a result of a cheque from his old man... but, as with Turkington, he proved he was deserving of the backing by seasons end.

Sorry Le Mans, Totally wrong ...
...Jason Plato climbed to the top on his driving ability, (consequently being chosen by Frank Williams for his Renault BTC Team),NOT on his father's money.

I am closing this thread, as it has become a bit of a slanging match.
