hi, just read tom chilton has been admitted to hospital with serious tonsilitas, poor lad, saw his car flying in the air from hill top on sunday, get well soon tom, were all thinking of you. J

I had my tonsils out a few years back at the age of 34 or 35 having had tonsil problems since I had been a teenager. I too ended up in hospital at one point, which is why they were finally whipped out. To reach a point where you are admitted to hospital, you are in a very sorry state and to want to do anything bar croak is unlikely. So, even if Tom had the willpower to jump into a car, to let him drive is plain stupidity and extremely dangerous... as we saw. Who authorised his drive I wonder?
