British Touring Car Championship race-winner Andrew Jordan is hunting a V8 Supercar drive later this year in the series' international event at Surfers Paradise.
Last year's Gold Coast 600 attracted the likes of Dario Franchitti, Yvan Muller and Jacques Villeneuve, each sharing a V8 Supercar with a series regular at the Queensland street circuit.
Jordan, who has yet to confirm his BTCC plans for this season, believes the Ford Falcon or Holden Commodore machines would suit his driving style.
