Just a few weeks til the start of the season. :( Amazed Lotus let him do it. Apparently he's broken his leg in multiple places and had to be cut free. Interesting to see how this pans out...

Just realised with Renault no longer having anything to do with team, politics hold no place and Bruno Senna may well start the season. God, I want to see that more than anything.

I suppose its just unlucky, you can break your leg falling down the stairs, I must Admit I admire the kind of sportsmen that have a go at something else.
For Example Loeb doing Lemans and F1, and Rossi doing rallying and F1.

Would be nice to see what he can do with a midfield car.

It appears that what they are most fearful of is Kubica not getting full functionality back into his hand. Rumours are that it was severly crushed in the accident, plus Kubica already has a metal plate in his right arm from a road accident he had back in 2003. Who knows what kind of damage that could have done in the accident? Get well soon Robert, hopefully we'll see you back in the Renault soon.

I heard a rumor that Loeb was approached by F1 but he was refused a license too race, I have no idea how much truth is in it though just found it pretty interesting. there is a vid floating around youtube with him driving the redbull car and he seemed to handle it alright and actually wanted too see how he would fair in F1. I Like the idea of drivers attempting more than one championship shows their skill as a driver.

The doctor is now saying he will be out for about a year if his hand is saved. Such a shame for him.

I like the Kube, it's ashame we wont be seeing him this year :(

Was one of the dark horses last year, ashame cause i think he would have got some more good results this year.

It's a shame we won't see him this season. :(
Hopefully he will be lurking around the pit lane during the season for interviews and help with the team.

But on the flip side to this, if ever there was a time Vitaly Petrov needed to step up and show Lotus-Renault that he means business, then this is the year to do it!

I guess this does leave the question, who will take Kubicas spot?

Perhaps Bruno Senna can prove himself in a more competitive car?

Or Romain Grosjean might get a 2nd chance to reedem himself?

Would love to see drivers from other sports having a crack at F1 lol, Loeb & Rossi being the obvious choices.

Think Renault will go with one of Senna, Heidfeld or Liuzzi (thats the story according to Autosport)

All 3 are worthy of a shot IMO, personal preference goes for Nick though, on the basis of experience.

However, whoever Renault go for, that person needs to be in the car for the second test, as we've seen what happens when you have limited testing and plonked straight into a race situation (Badoer, Fisichella et al)

I'd rather see Senna in a competitive car.
Maybe Heidfeld has more experience, but he never was successful (Kubica was way better than he was in the BMW_Sauber).
So I'd like to see what Senna can do...plus I never liked Heidfeld anyway:p
