Top award for Dynamics
Team Dynamics, the squad behind Honda’s all-conquering Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship team, has won a prestigious motor sport industry award.
Dynamics was presented with the ‘Teamwork supported by Grainger & Worrall’ trophy at the Motorsport Industry Association’s Business of the Year award ceremony at the weekend’s Autosport International show.
It was attended by some 500 senior executives from motor sport globally.
Running under the Honda Yuasa Racing Team banner in 2012, Dynamics’s pair of NGTC-spec Civics won 14 out of the BTCC’s 30 races in the hands of Gordon Shedden and Matt Neal.
Furthermore they helped the Pershore squad achieve a clean sweep of titles – Shedden became Drivers’ Champion for the first time, while the outright Manufacturers/Constructors (Honda/Dynamics) and HiQ Teams (Honda Yuasa Racing Team) championships were also successfully retained.
