Support Races/

At each BTCC race meeting the crowds are further entertained by appearances from five high profile supporting categories organised by popular manufacturers Ginetta, Porsche and Renault and which represent the very best in single-seater, saloon and sportscar racing.

The four championships are based around manufacturers' production models – Ginetta Juniors, Ginetta GT Supercup, Porsche Carrera Cup GB and Renault Clio Cup. These attract a mix of career-minded drivers and amateurs out to enjoy their racing.

Each championship races at least twice at BTCC events. That means in addition to seeing their BTCC heroes in action three times, the trackside spectators regularly get at least another eight races to enjoy during the weekend.

Just as in the BTCC, an open paddock policy enables the crowds to stroll around the support race teams' awnings as they prepare their cars for race action. Bear in mind that admission to BTCC race meetings is FREE* for children, it all adds up to unrivalled value for money entertainment for the visiting public.
