Website Watch

The new look btcc.net has been up and running for more than a week now so we thought we’d give you a little rundown on some of the new features.

Hopefully you’ve all noticed the new responsive design that shapes the site to your desktop, tablet or mobile device.

Of course the most visible difference is our new larger headline and image scroller at the top of the homepage, but there are some other nice visuals that we believe add more colour and information to our online presence.

Currently we’re hosting the top six drivers and teams from the 2013 season in their respective areas, but over the coming weeks we’ll be adding the full 2014 line-up with each getting their own page. Furthermore you will notice our driver scroller on the homepage and indeed our championship position infographic, which will show the top five drivers and cars throughout the upcoming season.

Video and live streaming is expected to add another string to btcc.net‘s bow as you can watch ITV’s live coverage on Saturdays and Sundays of every event, plus you’ll be able to watch brief highlights after each weekend in our homepage video player. The live coverage doesn’t stop there, however, as live timing for the entire TOCA tour will be hosted from Friday mornings and for the first time ever – live circuit commentary will be broadcast live across the world throughout every weekend.

In fact our audio section also includes links to hundreds of recorded interviews and re-runs of race commentaries. Go and have a look for yourself and you’ll currently find interviews with a number of BTCC stars from the recent Autosport International. Click here to listen to our recent interviews.

We’ll keep you right up to date as more features are added but in the meantime thank you for the support and be sure to contact us if you have any comments.
