Silverline Subaru BMR Racing boss Warren Scott enjoyed a stellar afternoon at Silverstone yesterday.

Whilst the part principal, part driver would have liked to have seen his quartet of Levorgs further up the order, he will have been delighted to see his name as the best of them.

For the first time this season it was Scott setting the Subaru pace as he brought his #39 machine home in 13th during qualifying. Stablemates Colin Turkington, Jason Plato and James Cole could only manage 15th, 16th and 23rd respectively, so we caught up with top man Scott ahead of today’s trio of races:
