The 2018 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship kicked off in typically dramatic fashion last weekend with opening weekend records tumbling.

Three thrilling races provided three different winners with a victory apiece for Jack Goff, Senna Proctor and Tom Ingram, whilst incredibly nine different drivers filled the nine podium positions on offer.

If that wasn’t #BTCC enough for you then the current top ten championship positions should catch your eye, with ten different marques and ten different teams filling those positions – underlining the level-playing field and high-class competitiveness throughout the capacity 32-car grid.

Add this to the ever-changing conditions at Brands Hatch, tyre choice drama and one of the most incredible races in the series’ illustrious 60-year history and it seems that the BTCC is in better health than ever.
