Hill ready for home race

“Finally the first race weekend is here, and it’s at Brands Hatch, my home track!’ beamed Trade Price Cars Racing’s Jake Hill, from nearby Goudhurst in Kent.

Hill and team-mate, former F1 driver Mark Blundell, will hit the track for practice for the opening Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship weekend on Saturday morning, with a second session just after lunch, and the all-important 30 minute qualifying session at 3.15pm – shown live online at itv.com/btcc

“We have had some really good running pre-season, and were really pleased with how we ended up at Media Day last week. The strength in the team is that we have some very good people and a very open policy with information. My race engineer Stuart (Beaton) and I have a strong understanding of the car already, but now is when we really have to work smart.”

Hill and Trade Price Cars Racing are confident that the Audi S3 will suit the tight nature of the Brands Hatch Indy Circuit, and will welcome several guests to their VIP Hospitality over the weekend.

“We are delighted to be able to welcome lots of our partners, friends and family. It’s going to be very busy, but a real buzz for everyone. Personally I have guests from Aston Lark, Ecoflam, Danfoss, ABGO, Point CNC, Zynth and Model World amongst others all joining us, so let’s hope we can repeat the Independents’ win from this time last year,” concluded Hill.

All three races are LIVE on ITV4HD this Sunday 7 April – programme starting at 10.15am – with races at 11.30am – 2.15pm and 5.05pm.
