With little over a month left to wait until the 2022 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship’s season-opening race weekend at Donington Park (23/24 April), the Official BTCC website is today celebrating the achievements of record-equalling four-time Champion Colin Turkington, as the Team BMW man turns 40!

Having made his first foray into Britain’s premier motorsport series some 20 years ago, with Team Atomic Kitten back in 2002, Turkington has enjoyed an impressive 162 visits to the rostrum and bagged his 60th BTCC race victory at the Leicester circuit during the 2021 campaign.
