Oulton Park marks the fourth event on this year’s calendar, as the championship battle begins to take shape.

Rich Energy BTC Racing’s Josh Cook heads to the Cheshire venue holding the top spot in the Drivers’ Standings following another double victory last time out, but with nearest rival Ash Sutton yet to grace the top step of the podium this year, could the NAPA Racing UK man be one to watch this weekend..?

Third-placed Colin Turkington will also be on the attack, with the Team BMW man holding an impressive ten victories at Oulton Park over his BTCC career.

In addition to the overall battle, the Jack Sears Trophy fight is hotting up, with Autobrite Direct with JourneyHero racer Bobby Thompson holding a one-point advantage over George Gamble, whose Car Gods with Ciceley Motorsport squad will be aiming for a strong weekend at its local circuit.

Notably, Ash Hand came out on top at Thruxton with a trio of JST victories in his CarStore Power Maxed Racing Astra, with the 28-year-old looking to move up the order.

The weekend’s action will, as always, kick off with two free practice sessions on Saturday (11 June) which fans can follow via the BTCC’s live timings and commentary available here, before qualifying at 1530, streamed live on itv.com/btcc.
