Rounding off this year’s Champions’ Audio, today we’ll hear from BTCC Chief Executive Alan Gow, as he reflects on the 2022 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship and looks ahead to next year and beyond.

At the end of another highly-competitive season, with 16 different drivers having stepped onto the rostrum and 12 different race winners during the 30-round campaign, Alan said: “We ended up with one of the closest championships we’ve had in a long time, fought with three different makes of car. So it’s great!

“It’s fantastic [to have] a new name, a new manufacturer, a new car [winning] the championship… Tom [Ingram] has been part of the TOCA ecosystem since he started racing as a kid. It’s great to see him win.”
