Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship racer Gordon Shedden kicked off 2022 with a display of strong form, following up a rostrum result in the opener with a victory in the second round of the campaign.

A regular points finisher throughout the year, Shedden would claim another victory in the third contest at Croft before podiums at Thruxton and Silverstone later on.

After his double rostrum in Hampshire, the 43-year-old also celebrated a milestone moment in the final race of Thruxton’s second event with his 400th BTCC race.

At the conclusion of the highly-competitive season, Shedden took seventh in the overall title battle, with his Halfords Racing with Cataclean squad securing fourth in the Teams’ battle.
