2022 Driver Spotlight: Tom Oliphant

Having contested four full campaigns previously, Tom Oliphant made a one-off return to the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship in 2022.
Stepping in for Will Powell at Thruxton, the 32-year-old joined the Autobrite Direct with JourneyHero line-up for Rounds 22, 23 and 24, piloting one of the squad’s Cupra Leons.
A mechanical issue curtailed his qualifying session and saw Oliphant start the opener from the back of the grid, but the #15 driver was quickly in the mix on race day, breaking into the top 20 by the final race of the day.
