BTCC on TV: Snetterton

The third event of the 2023 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship gets underway this weekend at the Snetterton 300 Circuit (20/21 May). Here is all the information you need to know to keep up with the action…

A couple weeks ago, the cars and stars of the 2023 grid headed to Brands Hatch for the second instalment of this year’s Championship.

Team BMW star Turkington secured his 64th career victory in the opener – 20 years after claiming his first at the same venue. He now moves past Matt Neal and behind Jason Plato in terms of race victories. 

NAPA Racing UK’s Ash Sutton then surged to two stunning successes in the following bouts, helping NAPA Racing UK to now lead the Teams standings, with BRISTOL STREET MOTORS with EXCELR8 just 31 points behind.

After a career best finish of second place, Bobby Thompson and Autobrite Direct with Millers Oils top the Independent Driver and Teams battles.

Sam Osborne now leads the contest for the Jack Sears Trophy, but Re.Beverages and Bartercard with Team Hard. driver, Dexter Patterson, is only two points behind.

This weekend’s race day action will feature on the home of the BTCC, ITV4, from 1045 on Sunday (21 May) while ITV Sport’s own Youtube channel and itv.com/btcc will host qualifying on Saturday (20 May) from 1530.
