You can read the recent reports below from an enthralling event at Snetterton, plus find the links to the latest news and championship tables…

Courier Connections Renault UK Clio Cup

Josh Cook continued his seemingly relentless march towards the Courier Connections Renault UK Clio Cup title at Snetterton with his fourth and fifth victories of an outstanding season, the results enabling the SV Racing with KX driver to increase his championship lead to 34 points.

Disappointingly pole-sitter Mike Bushell fluffed both starts, costing him any hope of adding to his maiden win from Thruxton back in May. In race one, round 11, Cook was joined on the podium by Bushell in second place and James Colburn in third – the latter racing impressively from eighth on the grid.

Round 12 provided a tight battle between Cook, his team-mate Ant Whorton-Eales and WDE Motorsport’s Paul Rivett during the first couple of laps. Thereafter, an intensifying second place battle enabled Cook to drive away while Rivett produced a superb cut-back at Agostini on lap six to take the runner-up spot from Whorton-Eales.

Dunlop MSA Formula Ford Championship

Neither of the leading Dunlop MSA Formula Ford Championship title protagonists made it to the top step of the podium at Snetterton, though as ever the rivalry between Harrison Scott and Jayde Kruger was close.

Race one went the way of JTR’s Max Marshall, who claimed his maiden win after Ashley Sutton and Kruger banged wheels early on. Sutton recovered to third behind Marshall and Scott, and went on to claim victories in races two and three; he dominated the finale from pole position to chequered flag.

Scott left Norfolk with a second and a third under his belt and a slightly increased (to 14) points lead over Kruger, for whom a second-place finish in the finale was the highlight.

Porsche Carrera Cup GB

Josh Webster swept to a double victory in rounds ten and 11 of the Porsche Carrera Cup GB at Snetterton with two commanding performances. As title rival Michael Meadows twice ran second, Webster left his home track with an increased championship lead of 16 points.

Josh Webster swept to victory in round ten after a mighty start laid the foundations for a superb victory for the Carrera Cup GB Scholarship driver. Behind second-placed Michael Meadows, guest racer Richard Muscat took third overall while Rob Smith (Pro-Am1) and Peter Kyle-Henney (Pro-Am2) scored category victories.

Webster later completed a perfect day with another win in round 11. Smith was the toast of Pro-Am1 with a hard-earned second win, while Steven Liquorish battled through to win Pro-Am2.

“That was one of my toughest races,” said Webster after the second race. “It’s not easy leading from the front, but the team did an incredible job and the car was fantastic.”

Ginetta Junior Championship & Michelin Ginetta GT4 SuperCup

Lando Norris leapfrogged his peers in the Ginetta Junior Championship to glide from sixth in the standings to third overall following an impressive first and second place at Snetterton Circuit. Whilst the same result for James Kellett propels him from third to second.

Norris enjoyed his third pole position start of the year in round 11 of the Ginetta Junior Championship, but as the rain came down as the cars took to the grid, a textbook start for Kellett saw him streak into the lead from the moment the lights went out; one he never relinquished.

Whilst Kellett and Norris have moved into second and third in the standings, Mitchell continues to enjoy a comfortable lead at the top of the tables. Although a fraught weekend for Ryan Hadfield dropped him to fourth, he remains only ten points behind Norris, and just five ahead of Zelos, setting the stage for a fantastic weekend at Knockhill.

Local driver Carl Breeze jumped Andrew Watson to take second place in the Michelin Ginetta GT4 SuperCup at Snetterton, as championship leader Charlie Robertson extended his lead with a pair of wins.
