JACKSON AND OSBORNE TO COMPETE UNDER APEC RACING WITH BEAVIS MORGAN BANNER

The final piece of Motorbase Performance’s Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship attack was put into place today (29 March) with the Wrotham-based squad revealing its pair of Apec Racing with Beavis Morgan Ford Focus STs as they hit the track at Donington Park.

Today’s Hybrid Installation Test marks the first official outing for the newly liveried machines, piloted by Ollie Jackson and Sam Osborne, as the duo showcase the striking new red, white and black colour scheme.

The title partnership with Apec sees the brand embark on an expanded relationship with Motorbase for the upcoming campaign, while Beavis Morgan develops its long-standing association with the squad and multiple race winner Jackson.

“Having a brand as highly regarded as Apec onboard demonstrates the pull factor that BTCC has this season,” said Team Owner and Team Principal Pete Osborne. “This is just the start of what we hope will be a fruitful partnership and we can’t wait to see how the car looks when it hits the track.”

“Our strategy this year is to solidify our position as market leaders in quality, service and support,” added Jamie Hall, Commercial Director of Apec Braking. “Sponsoring Motorbase in the British Touring Car Championship marks a milestone in this journey, increasing brand recognition at consumer level and further lead generation.”

With a trio of official pre-season tests, including Thruxton’s much-anticipated Season Launch on 13 April, the squad will follow today’s Hybrid Installation Test at Donington Park with a trip to North Yorkshire’s Croft Circuit next week (6 April) before the 2022 campaign gets underway back in Leicestershire on 23/24 April.
