Biography

Having enjoyed a successful Karting career, Dexter Patterson made his first foray into car racing during regional F4 outings in 2020, before graduating to the BRDC British Formula 3 Championship in 2021. 

Patterson made his BTCC debut with Laser Tools Racing in 2022, joining fellow Scotsman Aiden Moffat in the Infiniti Q50. Regularly battling in the top 20 throughout the campaign, the 19-year-old enjoyed an impressive hat-trick of points finishes, notably securing 14th place at his home event of Knockhill. Patterson also notched up the most places gained of any driver on the grid, making up 94 spots during the 30-round season.

Patterson will be moving to the Cupra Leon for Team HARD in 2023, looking to build on the pace and potential he showed during his debut campaign.
